THE STUDENT IS

 YOU

…the most important person on the Riverside City College campus.  Without YOU,  there would be no need for this institution.

…not a cold enrollment statistic but a flesh and blood human being with feelings and emotions like my own.

…not someone to be tolerated so that I can do my thing.  You are my thing.

…not dependent on me.  Rather, I am dependent on you.

…not an interruption in my work, but the purpose of my work.  I am not doing YOU a favor by serving YOU.  You are doing me a favor by giving me the opportunity to do so.

....HOWEVER, you must do your part to meet me HALFWAY.
